Import/export document pack — one complete file per shipment
Each shipment produces one set of documents that three parties read with different eyes: your customs broker, your forwarder and your bank. Inconsistencies between them cost days at the port and weeks at the bank. We build the pack once, check it for consistency and for red flags, and hand it to your licensed customs broker and forwarder ready to use. The customs declaration is filed by the broker you retain; transport is contracted by you.
Price — one shipment

How it works
Shipment intake
Proforma or contract, Incoterm, route, transport mode, counterparty, expected dates. Product data sheet or photos for classification.
Checklist and pre-checks
Regime-specific checklist. GTİP proposed with alternatives flagged. Preferential-origin route identified (ATR vs EUR.1 vs none). Licence and conformity requirements flagged by heading. Red-flag screen on parties, goods and route against EU 833/2014 annexes, OFAC and UN lists — factual, dated.
Consistency check
Invoice, packing list, transport document and contract compared line by line: quantities, weights, values, Incoterm, consignee, notify party. Discrepancies sent back to the counterparty before the goods move.
Hand-off and tracking
Pack delivered to your customs broker and forwarder; chamber appointment for origin certificates booked; questions from either answered the same day. The same pack is filed for the bank's eventual questions.
Who uses this
- Exporters to Central Asia and the Caucasus — Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia — by road (CMR) and rail, where origin certificates and bank-ready files decide whether the advance arrives.
- Importers of machinery, parts and raw materials from China, the EU and Korea, where GTİP decides duty and whether a TAREKS or CE check holds the container at the port.
- Transit and triangular trades where the invoicing party, the shipper and the manufacturer are in three countries and every bank asks why.
- New companies on their first shipment that have a broker but no one to assemble a complete file in the broker's language.
What can go wrong
- Wrong or disputed GTİP. Duty difference, post-clearance audit, penalties. We flag ambiguous headings so the broker decides with eyes open.
- Origin certificate that does not match the invoice. Chamber rejects or customs disallows preference. Checked before the chamber appointment.
- CMR consignee different from the invoice buyer. The bank asks why; the broker cannot clear. Fixed at the consistency check.
- Goods on a control list that nobody checked. Shipment stopped at export, or the bank refuses the payment. The red-flag screen exists for this; if something is listed, we tell you and stop.
- Missing conformity documents at import. Container waits at the port at ₺ thousands per day of demurrage. Flagged by heading at step 2.
Timeline
Pack within two business days of complete intake; same day on Trade and Group tiers. Chamber origin certificates: usually one business day. Broker and forwarder timelines are theirs.
Questions
Do you clear customs?
No. Customs declarations in Türkiye are filed by a licensed customs broker (gümrük müşaviri) or by the company itself with its own authorisation. You retain the broker and pay their fee. We prepare the document set the broker needs, pre-check the tariff heading and origin documents, and coordinate between you, the broker and the forwarder.
What is a GTİP pre-check?
GTİP is the 12-digit Turkish customs tariff code. The code determines duty, KDV, whether a licence, CE or TSE check applies, and whether the goods are dual-use. We propose a heading from the product description and data sheet and flag where two headings are plausible; the broker makes the final classification and bears the professional responsibility.
Why does the pack matter for the bank?
Because the same documents — invoice, packing list, transport document, origin certificate, customs declaration — are what your bank asks for when it questions the payment. A pack built once per shipment serves the broker, the forwarder and the bank's compliance unit; see bank compliance reply.
Can you recommend a customs broker or forwarder?
We work alongside licensed brokers and forwarders and can introduce you to ones with experience on your route. You contract with them directly and pay them directly; we take no commission from them.
