Right of withdrawal

1. The right
If you are a consumer, you may withdraw from a distance contract with ROSTU within 14 days without giving any reason and without paying any penalty. For services, the period runs from the day the contract is formed (the day you confirm the order and the payment is authorised). If we failed to inform you of this right properly, the period is extended to one year.
2. How to withdraw
Send a clear statement before the period ends, by any of these channels. Using the model form below is optional. We confirm receipt in writing the same or next business day.

The burden of proving that withdrawal was declared in time is on you; a timestamped e-mail or message is sufficient.
3. Effect and refund
- We refund the ROSTU fee and any delivery charge you paid within 14 days of receiving your notice, by the payment method you used.
- Documents you supplied are returned to you at our cost, or securely destroyed at your choice; scans are deleted.
- Amounts you paid to the state, a notary, a bank or any licensed professional were never received by us and are not refundable by us. Their refundability is governed by that body's rules.
4. When the right of withdrawal does not apply (Regulation art. 15)
Art. 15/1(h) — services performed with your explicit consent before the period ends. At checkout we offer a separate, unticked box: "I ask ROSTU to start the service now, before the 14-day withdrawal period ends, and I understand that I lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed."
- If you do not tick it, we start performance on the 15th day, and you may withdraw at any time before that with a full refund.
- If you tick it and withdraw while performance is ongoing, you pay for the part performed in proportion to the total price (for example: three of five pages translated → 60% of the translation fee), and the remainder is refunded within 14 days.
- If you tick it and the service has been fully performed (the translation delivered, the errand completed, the pack handed over, the appointment attended), the right of withdrawal has lapsed for that service.
Art. 15/1(c) and (ç) — services prepared to your specifications or personal needs (a translation of your document, a pack built from your documents), and services that by their nature cannot be returned, once delivered.
Subscriptions (Family Plan, Business Account, Business Operating Desk) may be withdrawn from within 14 days of the first contract; thereafter they are cancelled with 30 days' notice to the end of a month, without a withdrawal right for months already served.

6. Disputes
If you believe a refund was wrongly refused or delayed, write to the complaint address above first; we answer within two business days. You may apply to the Tüketici Hakem Heyeti of your district (free of charge, within the monetary limits announced by the Ministry of Trade) or to the consumer court.
Questions
Can I withdraw after you have started the translation?
If you ticked the separate early-start box, yes until the service is fully performed, and you pay for the part performed in proportion. Once the translation is delivered the service is fully performed and the right has lapsed for that service. If you did not tick the box, we do not start before day 15 and you can withdraw freely until then.
Will you refund the notary fee or the harç?
No, because we never received it. Those amounts were paid by you to the notary or the state against their receipt. Whether they are refundable is a question for that body; in general notarial fees for acts performed are not refunded and state fees for applications not submitted may be reclaimed from the tax office with the receipt.
How long does the refund take?
Within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice, by the same method you paid. Card refunds appear on your statement according to your bank's cycle.
